DPDT rocker switch
for Auto/Manual Change over
DPDT is a double pole double throw switch; this is equivalent to two SPDT switches. It routes two separate circuits, connecting each of two inputs to one of two outputs. The position of the switch determines the number of ways in which each of the two contacts can be routed.
DPDT stands for double pole double throw relay. Relay is an electromagnetic device used to separate two circuits electrically and connect them magnetically. They are often used to interface an electronic circuit, which works at a low voltage to an electrical circuit which works at a high voltage.
In our Heat Treatment machine we use DPDT rocker switch for Auto to Manual or Manual to Automatic Change over.
